Session 1: Plants of the season – holly and ivy
Session 2: Honey bees at work
Session 3: Dew drops on plants
Join experience local artist Lis Bramwell for informal, relaxed and fun watercolour painting sessions. The perfect course for those who love to embrace all winter has to offer or those who need help to chase away the winter blues.
All abilities are welcome and supported.
If you are completely new to watercolours, then materials can be purchased at the first session for £10. Otherwise please bring what you feel you need. I would suggest a good quality drawing pencil, sharpener and rubber. Practice paper such as cartridge paper and the watercolour paper of your choice. Cold pressed for a looser style, hot pressed for more detailed work. A basic palate of lemon yellow, Payne’s grey, sap green, Winsor blue, alizarine crimson, cadmium red, Vandyke brown, burnt sienna and yellow ochre should work well for winter subjects but the choice is yours.
Friday mornings x 3 in Feb '27 9.30am to 12.30pm
£110 total comprising £20 deposit and £90 balance payable to Lis when she contact you after booking
