...to enjoy an informal and relaxing day with others at our 17th Century Cumbrian farmhouse discovering new skills from experienced artists and professionals in friendly and unique surroundings. Our Quirky Workshop days take place in our cosy converted barn studio- with oak floor, natural light & an open ceiling - a perfect space to work in. When we can, on warmer summer days, the studio workshop moves into the walled cottage garden to make the most of the lovely setting. Cookery Days are held in our farmhouse kitchen, Blacksmithing, Raku and Pizza Oven workshops all have their own dedicated course spaces where shelter is available if needed.
All our day workshops include a lovely two course Aga lunch, fresh coffees, teas & fresh baked farmhouse scones to finish off the day. Lunch is served in our farmhouse kitchen around one large table or in the garden when possible. Shorter courses will include refreshments and sometimes a light lunch too. We do hope you can find some days that appeal and look forward to welcoming you here.
