Exploring Watercolours, Pencils & more' with Margaret Jarvis in the Swallow Barn for the next stages of Watercolours.
After the success of Margaret's inaugural Pen and Wash Monday pm's, we now offering a further series of 5 Tuesday pms with Watercolours as the focus.
The five x afternoon courses will have the same format each week, the first hour will be learning a new / or brushing up on techniques and the remaining part of the afternoon will be spent putting this into action. Lots of hints and tips along the way. Materials provided but students are encouraged to bring any equipment they have.
- Watercolour colour mixing and tonal picture
- coloured pencils

- Inktense and watercolours
These afternoon sessions are not suitable for complete beginners, but those with some grounding in this medium or in Pen ad Wash (you may have taken Margaret's Beginners course previously for example). Please pay £15 deposit to secure your place, we will then forward your details to Margaret who will collect your balancing payment. This course is a rerun of Nov 2020 course which was cancelled, so only limited new places will be availablle. Booking opens Sunday 15th August 2021 6.00pm.

Parking is available in the village car park 350yds (or closer 150yds if you are running late). Maps showing parking location will be sent with your confirmations.
Typically this course runs with around 8-10 students. There will be six single tables available. In addition, there will be two double tables, for those able to work in a bubble of two. Please book as appropriate and PLEASE email if you are waiting as a single person. Thank you!
Please bring: Please bring your own painting materials, paper, watercolours, brushes and pens. Margaret will have some materials available. . Water, jam jars and kitchen roll will be available to use on site.
About the Artist This lovely local artist has been teaching beginners classes since the first Quirky Workshops at Greystoke in 2006. Experienced artists frequently venture onto Margaret's courses and leave saying they've learned a great deal - she has many hints and tips to share.
