Design and make your your own Plastic free long lasting Porcelain Plant tags and labels
A fun short session with Gwen creating your own re-useable plant tags using lace or natural materials (pressed flowers/grasses) to create lovely textured tags with their own label.
Once fired these tags can be used time and again by writing on them with a permanent marker pen, then when you want to plant something else, just wipe off with everyday nail varnish remover and start again!
Say goodbye to those plastic plant tags and your own 'creative hello' to a bit of art in the garden. No experience necessary, just come and have some fun creating. Porcelain is a very hard clay which when high-fired, is frost proof, so no worries about putting these outside in the Cumbrian winters!
Gwen will take your tags back to her studio for firing, they can be collected either from there or from Quirky Workshops. Postage to your home will also be available at an extra cost.
Friday 6th March 2020
Materials are included in the initial fee. Typically this course runs with around 8-9 students. Suitable for Beginners.
Please bring: Some protection for your clothes and money for your materials charge. Home made soup and Aga bread may be available to buy on the day.
