Make a wonderful, versatile, Japanese-style reversible Wrap apron in a day!

Perfect to wear when doing crafts, pottery, gardening and general pottering around (perhaps you could wear it to your next Quirky Workshop?), this lovely reversible apron is fully lined, as are the two generous and useful pockets. With no fiddly ties, zips or fasteners, this apron slips on easily and fits all shapes and sizes comfortably. Jenny will bring samples with her for you to see and try on, she will have sizes XS to 2XL to actually try on and choose on the day.

Note for fabric requirements :  * prewashing - Jenny recommends pre-washing your fabrics before the course. It's always a good idea to do this when you're using natural fabrics or two different types of fabric. Wash in a quick wash at 30 degrees and then iron before the day please.

Dates for this course - see the table below to book:

Sat 13th April 2024

Kindly note there will be a materials charge of £5 for the pattern, payable directly to the tutor on the day. Suitable for anyone with basic machine sewing skills.

Please bring: More information of what to bring will be sent to you in the weeks leading up to the course but you will need to bring with you a working sewing machine*, a basic sewing kit (scissors, pins, tape measure, fabric markers etc), two 1.75 metres of fabric of either 115cm, 140cm or 150cm wide (contrasting plain and patterned prints work well together) and matching thread for each fabric. Sized Samples to try on and the pattern will be available on the day in sizes XS to 2XL; a small piece of interfacing for the yoke will also be supplied.   * Prewashing - Jenny also recommends pre-washing your fabrics before the course. It's always a good idea to do this when you're using natural fabrics or two different types of fabric. Wash in a quick wash at 30 degrees and then iron before the day please.

*please make sure your sewing machine is in good working order, with spare needles, and you are able to thread it etc. Please ask at the time of booking if you will need to borrow a machine on the day.
