Design /create an Appliqué relief Tile in Porcelain (or 3 smaller ones as a triptych), using a variety of cutters, stamps and letters, with Gwen Bainbridge

An opportunity to create your own tile or triptych in white porcelain using a variety of stamps, cutters, lettering and more, under the guidance of the hugely talented ceramicist Gwen Bainbridge. Whether your tile becomes a house or room sign, is used in a kitchen setting, makes a unique wedding present or gift, becomes a piece of wall art or is simply used as single tile decorations or coasters - the choice is yours. There are endless uses for these delightful items.

Kindly note there will be a materials charge payable directly to the tutor on the day,of approx £10.Typically this course runs with around 8-9 students. Suitable for Beginners.

Please bring: Special lace or any personal textures or imprints that can be rolled into the porcelain to create effect - or any stamps or shape cutters.

About the Artist   Much of Gwen's work is defined by the unique incorporation of textile pattern into her porcelain, making her work so unique and admired. Her work is sold in galleries throughout the north of England and she works out of her own studio in Brougham Hall in Cumbria.
