Exploring Wonderful Ways with Botanical Watercolour’ . . from Realism into the abstract with Karen Innes
A two day course with Karen exploring different ways to create detail in Botanical painting using Watercolour.
Karen will focus on the plant and its structure, whilst learning how to depict it's appearance in a slightly more abstract and relaxed way.
The course is suitable for all abilties, even beginners

Please bring: Karen wil provide a list of materials to bring About the artist: Karen is a qualified botanical artist who uses mediums such as ceramics, calligraphy and botanical painting to express the beauty of the natural world. She has extensive experience in teaching people of all levels and abilities and loves to focus on wild flowers, birds, insects and ephemera, to extend their vibrancy and visual life creatively on paper, vellum and ceramics using a mixture of free flowing designs and intricate detailed work. H
Also a yoga teacher, Karen believes that as a yoga and meditation teacher, the natural beauty around us, can be invoked in everyone and translated into colour, design and mark making to create unique and beautiful works of art. Her patience and rapport, enables her to encourage people to free their individual energy and creativity to focus on what drives them, whilst learning and developing techniques in water colour, gouache and mixed media.
